Check Out New ESPN Documentary The Save!

Jeri Ross, co-owner of Institut’DERMed, is very proud to announce the airing of the ESPN documentary film featuring Gina Castaneda, the Santa Cruz County Deputy Probation officer. The Save, directed by Academy Award winner Amanda Micheli, is part of an ESPN segment called Heroics, which features stories about women across the globe who are involved in soccer and its use to better their local communities. For the past year Institut’DERMed has been a corporate sponsor for the Breakaway College Access project, which Gina is head coach for in the Aztecas Soccer Program, which provides at-risk youth a chance to overcome gang violence through playing soccer. The Save will be broadcasted during the Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Germany through July 17, 2011.

My Spa Treatment in Bali!

Here I am at the Payogan Villa Resort in Ubud, Bali.

While in Bali I learned about traditional natural ingredients used for body treatments. While staying at The Payogan Villa Resort, I went to use their spa and chose to have a Cooling Sea Weed Body Mask that is an ideal treatment for UV damaged skin or prolonged sun exposure. The treatment starts with a traditional Balinese massage and finishes with a tropical flower and milk bath. Before leaving, I was served warm ginger tea for internal detoxification. What a wonderful, healing experience that made my body, mind and spirit feel renewed and content!

I have now arrived in Singapore, located in Southeast Asia right off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula! I spent a full day in 5 meetings with potential distributors for CelluliteRx™. Luanne, of the US Commercial Service, scheduled 3 full days of meetings with distributors. Damon, my business partner, accompanied me on this incredible journey to lend his expertise in business and finance. Singapore is such a melting pot of all cultures-almost everyone speaks English, but this island country is still full of diversity. Last night we actually had dinner in little Arabia right next to little India. You get the picture.

Hello Asia! I have traveled across the Pacific seeking continued worldwide distribution for Institut’DERMed’s skin and body care line featuring CelluliteRx. After a 13 hour plane flight I arrived in Hong Kong! The very next morning I was on yet another plane to visit my account in Taipei Taiwan, Famous International. Our meeting included a tour of 2 of their very elegant spas and then tea time with the staff who were eager to meet me. I am so grateful for this opportunity to meet such gracious people and personally thank them for their business!
