Jeri Ross Becomes Certified Brain Education Instructor!

“I recently spent 6 days in Queens, New York to become a certified Brain Education Instructor. Brain Education (BE) is a revolutionary educational method that develops the full potential of the brain, eliminates stress, and enlivens total brain functioning. This holistic training system cultivates the brain’s unlimited potential to develop into a Power Brain, a brain that is productive, creative and peaceful. BE integrates the mind and body through physical and mental exercises that use relaxed concentration and imagination. These exercises access the mind’s vast, untapped reservoir of resources and potential. Getting rid of cellulite can be better achieved when we reduce stress in our lives and in our brains. Brain Power to you!” -Jeri Ross

Taking care of  your spirit is one of the best ways to reduce stress and promote a healthy, beautiful body.  Jeri Ross recently had the unique opportunity to experience the serene countryside of Montana, riding hoarseback at the Blacktail Ranch.  Jeri attended a women’s retreat this past August through www.gatheringofthesoul.com to enjoy the company of fellow women, while calming the mind and body through meditation, journaling, and taking in the beautiful nature.  “What an inspirational journey that I highly recommend for all women to take the time to do at least once a year.” -Jeri Ross

September is Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

Childhood Obesity Awareness Month

So what can YOU do this month to help your child or children in your community be healthy?

In the past four decades, obesity rates in the United States have soared among all age groups. This rise in obesity rates has affected our youth in alarming fashion. Childhood obesity has increased more than fourfold among those ages 6 to 11. Over 23 million children and teenagers in the United States ages 2 to 19 are obese or overweight, a statistic that health and medical experts consider an epidemic. On March 26, 2010, a resolution was unanimously passed in the Senate to designate September 2010 as “National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month”, bringing national attention to a growing epidemic among youth in the United States.
